Welcome from our president
The end of the year is a busy time but an exciting and joyous one as well. We bring out the decorations we have stitched over the years, remember who stitched each ornament for the tree and busily work to get our stitched gifts finished. I hope you have some stitched memories in your holidays to brighten the season.
One of the best gifts we can give ourselves is time with friends who share a passion for the same things as we do. The Embroiderers' Guild is the perfect place to create friends, learn together and share a passion for needlework. I can't express how much my years of membership have given me. Starting from barely knowing how to cross stitch to passing Master Craftsman Certification this past year, the Guild has taught me so much and fueled my excitement for stitching. Whether you are just beginning your journey with stitching or whether you have been stitching for years, give yourself the gift of learning and fellowship this year with the Cheekwood Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America. We would love for you to come visit with us and meet us in person!
So enjoy the long late fall evenings working on your favorite projects and stitching beautiful things to give others. Have a joyous holiday season and we will have another fun year learning together in 2027!
Whitney Danhof, President
In the event of inclement weather, the Nashville meetings will follow the metro Nashville school system plan. If the schools are closed, Cheekwood will not meet.
