About Us

Fall is upon us, and I'm so excited - it's my favorite time of the year.  I love the cooler weather, the start of football, the autumnal colors  and the anticipation of the holidays. 

When I think about the designs I've stitched, most them are autumn or winter themed...hmmm, maybe there's a connection there! 

But the good thing about EGA, is  we have something for everyone.  Already this year, we've explored kimono creation, the making of metallic fabric, the many forms of cross stitch, Portuguese Arraiolos rugs, color selection for stitching, the Red Dress Project, and blackwork.  We've stitched several patriotic themed ornaments, and participated in a highly enjoyable needlepoint workshop with a nationally known teacher.  See.....something for everyone!

We still have several meetings left this fall, both in Nashville and Shelbyville.  Please join us!

In the event of inclement weather, the Nashville meetings will follow the metro Nashville school system plan. If the schools are closed, Cheekwood will not meet.
